Easiteach is the educational software bundled with PolyVision eno interactive whiteboards. Current Easiteach customers may upgrade for free, and RM is tempting those considering a switch with a very special opportunity. We've been making some improvements on our end, too! RM Easiteach Next Generation launch

In this major revision, Easiteach's improved navigation combines toolbars and streamlines features, allowing users to painlessly access lessons and media. Fewer steps are required to reach and implement tools.

Next Generation includes two dozen built-in widgets; by the 1.1 release on August 1, this number will pass 50. 1.1 brings new templates, Mac support and more examples for lesson structures as well.

The upgrade is free for current RM users (with any version) before November 30. To receive this free upgrade, speak to a PolyVision customer support representative at 866-728-6758 or email them at etngupgrade@rmeducation.com with school district and contact information. (You'll need a proof of purchase, so have a PO or IWB serial number on hand.)

HCI TV: Patient education made easy

The HCI Teaching Vehicle eliminates wasted time setting up patient education carts by providing instant education on each patient television. The patient portals grant access to educational libraries stored inside patient TVs. Education channels can be reached instantly with the EDU buttons of the TV and pillow speaker. HCI TV simplifies station identifications with a helpful channel guide and saves time by eliminating DVDs and carts.

HCI's hardware line incorporates built-in DVD players and inputs for gaming systems, iPods and other similar devices. These can also provide video on demand (by accessing libraries of movies) and the internet. All of these functions conspire to make a happier, better-informed patient.
